 Brampton's Grow Green Environmental Awards is a bi-annual awards program that recognizes outstanding individuals, businesses, and organizations from across the city that have demonstrated environmental leadership and have significantly contributed to the Grow Green Vision of conserving, enhancing and balancing our natural and built environments to create a healthy, sustainable and resilient Brampton. ​ 

Heart Lake Turtle Troopers are the proud recipients of the 2024 Stewardship Award.

 ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The City of Brampton is proud to offer a community recognition program that has honoured thousands of outstanding residents in the community in the areas of sports, arts, and community service. 

Heart Lake Turtle Troopers won the Inspirational Award for 2023 with the ceremony on Thursday, May 9, 2024.  This award recognizes groups who advocate or practice humane action, or who have had an inspirational influence on others.

The Heart Lake Turtle Troopers are proud recipients of the TD Park People Grants for the 2nd year in a row.  The TD Park People Grants program is providing essential funding to support park groups in delivering over 140 awesome nature-based activities that foster environmental education,

sustainability, and stewardship in cities across Canada.
