About Us

Our Mission

Our mission is to support the protection and monitoring of the local turtle population through a community science volunteer program, by working in partnership with community stakeholders to raise community awareness, recruit and engage community volunteers and organize and deliver public engagement activities.

How we got started

It all began in 2020, when two ladies - Christina Cicconetti and Lori Leckie - met at a local lake and got talking.
