About Us

Our mission is to support the protection and monitoring of the local turtle population through a community science volunteer program, by working in partnership with community stakeholders to raise community awareness, recruit and engage community volunteers and organize and deliver public engagement activities. 

It all began in 2020, when two ladies met at a local lake and got talking.

Keep an eye out for the Executive team walking around the local wetlands: Christina, Lori, Ruth, Sherryann and Gunjan.

We also have a wonderful group of leads on-site to help you out: Maureen, Pauline, Brian, Cecilia, Ryan, Christina, Galina, Sherryann, and Ruth!
