We were blessed with rainy turtle weather for our Earth Day event at Norton Place Park. Date: Tuesday, May 30, 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Learn about the Indigenous history of Heart Lake Conservation Area and what a medicine wheel garden is all about.
We will gather to share some conversation, laughter, drumming, and snacks.
Hosted by: Heart Lake Turtle Troopers in partnership with Four Colours Drum Circle, the custodians of the Medicine Wheel Garden (Gitigaan Mashkiki).
What to Bring:
This is an outdoor event. Dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, apply sunscreen and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. Cameras and binoculars are recommended but not mandatory.
Where to meet:
We will meet at the Medicine Wheel garden within the Heart Lake Conservation Area. *Look for us in our neon vests!
